hello youtube! i'm here today to talk to you about my harborfreight workbench that i picked up. i've been using it mostly as a automotiveand do-it-yourself house workstation. one of the features that i do like is, itcomes with an outlet, 3 outlets on this side. and i did ziptie one of these in these pegholes another surge protector on this side. so if i have anything that i need to do onthis side of the workstation, i don't need to wrap a cord all the way through the workspace. i picked up this non-slip mat right here,that way i can just put anything on it, and it will stay in place.
i was actually surprised at the quality ofit. you know, it has some nice drawers i linedup with non-slip pad too! i don't know if this is good or bad thing,but you have to push it to get it in. it's kind of a locking mechanism to hold thedrawer in place. which, i don't mind it, but some people mightthink of it as, i guess just a pet peeve of theirs. i got this little magnetic parts holder. you can just stick it anywhere, it's kindof cool. that was actually free at harbor freight.
got my cleaning supplies. just odds and ends stuff. stuff i use on the daily. i hooked up these clamps to it just so i havethem. and if i ever wanted to get a workbench vice,i'm probably just going to put it on that side, where the non-slip pad is, because thereis actually a good amount of play through here. so i could put bolts i'd say going about threeinches in at least and it wouldn't even interfere with anything in this drawer, or that drawer.
for what the vice is going to do. down there i have my car jacks and jack stands. got my oil drip pan. just everything tucks in there nice. got my car wash and i'm actually having thistower speaker going to that outlet on the harbor freight workbench. i actually like how it's kind of like an allblack work area. it looks nice. the top shelf is pretty useful too!
it can hold, i think, it said up to like fiftypounds. and these can hold, i forgot the number, butit's more than what i would ever stick on it. and all-in-all i really, really like thisworkbench. i mean for eighty bucks i couldn't imaginefinding anything better than this. and it's actually pretty deep too! so you can stick a fairly large size itemon top, or the bottom for storage if you want, but yeah if anybody has any recommendationsfor peg board holders let me know. comment and i'll get back to you.
