for each saw horse you need five pieces of2x4 that are 30" long and two pieces that are 32" long. it takes a little bit more thantwo 2x4s to make each saw horse so you can make a pair out of five 2x4s. the second thing we need to do is start assemblyon the i beam. we're going to take one of the 30" boards and sandwich it in betweentwo of the 32" boards. make sure that the center piece is centered. that way you geta 1" overhang on both ends for clamps. when you have everything the way you want it youcan secure the top and bottom boards with three 3" screws on either side. also makesure that you countersink these screws by a half inch or so that way your circular sawblade does not come in contact with them.

with the i beam done we can start puttingthe legs together. and, they just get screwed in place like so. you want to make sure thatthe side of the leg is flush with the side of the center section of the i beam. onceyou have both legs done you can flip the piece over and simply screw in the other legs likeso. so that's it. these are very handy to make, very handy to have around the shop. i've already got four but there has been so many timeswhere having just one more would have been a life savor so i decided to make anotherone. with the i beam design you've got, obviously, two sacrificial surfaces. once this gets chewedup so much that it becomes a nuisance than you can unscrew the legs, flip it around, reattach the legs and you've got a brand new

surface on top so that's handy. also theydon't take up that much space at all. you can stack six or seven of these high if youwanted to and they only take up one footprint so that's another neat factor. anyway, hopeyou guys enjoy and hope you can make a couple of these and you like what you see like andsubscribe. have a great day.
